I am a teacher. I am also a parent. Because my son is only one, I have yet to attend a parent-teacher conference from the other side of the desk, but I know that in about 4 years, they will become a thrice-annual part of my life. Because I'm a teacher, I've begun to stockpile advice for my future self to be mindful of when attending these thrilling events, and I thought it would only be right to share these little tidbits with all three of you reading this post.
